Testimonials

A little more about me

I am a family lawyer, collaborative practitioner and mediator in Midtown Toronto who believes in resolving family disputes with honesty, respect, and putting children’s interests first. Every family is different but all benefit from compassionate advocacy at a time of stressful transition.

Before starting my own practice in 2017, I was an associate with a family law firm in the GTA. I have also served as Family Duty Counsel in the Milton courthouse. In these roles, I gained significant experience advocating for and negotiating matters related to parenting issues, child and spousal support and property division.

I am a member of the Law Society of Ontario. I currently serve on the Board of Collaborative Divorce Toronto (CDT) and am a past Chair of the Family Lawyers Association.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, I earned an undergraduate degree in French from Yale University and a doctorate in European Literature from Oxford University. I was a professor of French at University College London in the United Kingdom for over a decade before I returned to Toronto to attend law school.

I am a mother of two sons. I enjoy walking in Toronto’s ravines with my dog, practicing Pilates, reading novels, doing word puzzles, and attending concerts with my husband.
